Outer Banks fans are gearing up for one heck of a new season, and it is expected to be even more intense than the previous ones. The treasure-hunting crew is all set to return for newer adventures: hunting Blackbeard's Treasure.
From accepting a shady deal to save their haven, to underwater attacks and plenty of chaos in town, they’re about to enter unchartered territory in order to reach the ultimate prize that awaits them.

The teen drama will see the return of the OG gang including Chase Stokes, Sarah Cameron, JJ, Kiara, Topper, Drew Starkey, and Pope reuniting for the aforementioned thrill. The OTT recently dropped a trailer, sharing snippets for what awaits fans in this new chapter of the Pogues.
The story will pick up in the aftermath of Season 3 - after discovering El Dorado’s gold. The Pogues have been living a much more relaxed life by managing a bait shop and spending their time dirtbike racing for fun.
Additionally, they also spend ample time together by the pier, basking in the afterglow of a peaceful life. However, all of that is set to change. With the release date around the corner, take a look at what time will Season 4 Part 1 of Outer Banks air.
What time will Outer Banks Season 4 release globally?
Season 4 of Outer Banks is slated to release in two parts this time: Part 1, consisting of the first 5 episodes is set to air on October 10, 2024. Here's a look at what time it will air based on region:
Part 2 of Outer Banks will air on November 7, 2024, the time for which has yet to be confirmed. It will consist of the remaining five episodes of the season - the conclusion.

As mentioned above, the original cast members will be reprising their respective roles as the Pogues in Season 4 of Outer Banks.

What to expect in Season 4 of Outer Banks?
Outer Banks Season 4 will revolve around the aftermath of discovering the city of El Dorado. While their discovery was a historic find, it, unfortunately, came at the cost of losing the people they loved: Big John died while clutching the gold from the fabled land.
Similarly, they also deal with the loss of Ward - Sarah’s father. Since then, the Pogues have been working towards moving on and leaving the lives of treasure hunters behind.
Although the Pogues were under the impression of living a relaxed life, running a tackle and bait business and spending their time indulging in recreational activities, reality begins to hit hard.
The bills roll in and they realize all the money from the gold is pretty much zilch. With the risk of losing their primary source of income, the Pogues were given a unique proposition.
The enigmatic David Jensen proposes that the Pogues embark on another life-threatening and enlightening journey to find the mother load: Black Beard’s treasure. This is one of the most legendary treasures to discover and while many have attempted (in the teen drama), none have succeeded.
Apart from the adventure of a lifetime, expect to see them run into unforeseen plot twists, a danger of them being hunted - as the trailer depicts, and romance continuing to brew between the crew per usual.
There is certainly chaos waiting to let loose, especially since the trailer also revealed the blue and red sirens hot on their tails. This is going to be one wild ride the Pogues never expected after leaving “that” life behind.
Outer Banks recap: The story so far?
Outer Banks began with a band of teenagers living in the fictional town known as ‘Outer Banks,’ located in North Carolina. In the Netflix show, these teens grapple with the nuances of living as “Pogues” - who are people belonging to the working class residing in The Cut. They’ve come a fairly long way since going from The Cut to Poguelandia 2.0.
Season 3 saw the Pogues take on the challenge to locate the chrome city of gold: El Dorado. They did go through tumultuous hurdles to finally locate and bring back some gold from the mythical place, albeit at a cost.
Thus far, they’ve successfully and painfully unearthed the lost treasures of the Royal Navy and also found John B’s dad, who went missing looking for the treasure in the first place. From partying with the Kooks (the wealthy individuals from the Outer Banks) to working together as a team, they’ve indeed come far in their journey.
However, it wasn’t always easy because there was almost constant drama going on, either in their personal lives or their love lives, thus causing them to get frustrated or befuddled with each other.
Regardless, they learned to have each other's back no matter what and encountered new allies enroute their journey. Shortly after discovering Pogelandia 2.0 - Paradise, the Pogues have built themselves quite a life while enduring the pain of losing dear members of their family thus far.
Now, they're all set to gear up for another life-altering adventure involving going through choppy seas, underwater battles, malicious folks targetting them, and of course, trouble in paradise.
Whether or not all the Pogues would make it out alive with the treasure of Blackbeard intact will be disclosed in Season 4 of Outer Banks, set to stream only on Netflix!
