Teddi Mellencamp has been a favourite with fans of the Real Housewives franchise. The reality star has starred in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) between 2017 and 2020, and she returned to the show in 2021. Teddi is the daughter of singer-songwriter John Mellencamp and she also hosts a podcast titled Two Ts in a Pod with reality TV star Tamra Judge. Teddi was recently diagnosed with multiple brain tumours and had to undergo critical brain surgery.

On RHOBH, Teddi has impressed fans with her frankness and authenticity. In 2006 she tied the knot with filmmaker Matt Robertson but they divorced in 2010, according to Wikipedia. Teddi married Edwin Arroyave, the owner of a security company in 2011 and has three children with him. However, she filed for a divorce from Arroyave in 2024.
This is not the first major health battle for Teddi as she had been diagnosed with skin cancer in the past. In 2022, she had a mole removed on her back and reminded her fans on social media to not skip their annual skin checkups.

Teddi has used her platform to draw awareness towards cancer and has even shared images of the scars on her shoulder after her melanoma removal surgeries. Teddi got candid about her struggle on her podcast, Two Ts In a Pod. She said:
“It’s been eye-opening how quickly things can change and it’s a lesson I will never forget, nor quit speaking up about. I want nothing more than for all of you to be proactive so you do not have to experience this. Let my scars be your inspiration to get preventative care.”
The reality TV star also took to social media to discuss her current diagnosis. She revealed that she had been experiencing acute headaches for several months and finally had to be hospitalised a few days ago. Doctors found multiple tumours on her brain after a CT scan and MRI.
Right before heading for surgery, Teddi shared an Instagram story which featured a few close friends and family members who showed up to support her in her hospital room. In her note, Teddi also thanked her medical team including doctors and healthcare practitioners who were trying their best to heal her.
