"Hello Alexis. It's Shannon Beador. I am hosting a trip to Europe with my friends and just wanted to make it clear that you are not invited. That should be quite understandable given the circumstances."
The text continued,
"Thank you for the flowers, but I am not interested in an olive branch."

The 13th episode of RHOC, titled You Are Cordially Not Invited, featured disagreements between two housewives. Earlier, Alexis Bellino sent flowers, including an "olive branch," to Shannon Beador on her 60th birthday.
In response, Shannon texted Alexis that she wasn't invited to the girl's trip (to London) that Shannon had organized. While sending the text to un-invited Alexis, she also mentioned being "not interested" in the olive branch.
In her October 3, 2024, interview with Bravo.com, Alexis shared details of what happened between her and Shannon Storm Beador. The Real Housewives of Orange County star mentioned that it was not a "good moment" for herself.
"Well, this was not such a good moment for Alexis. When I got the text from Shannon that I wasn't included, that did not surprise me. I mean, I wouldn't invite her to go on a trip with me either. I thought the way she texted it was a little not necessary."
Alexis shared that Shannon didn't need to tell her she "wasn't invited." Not getting the “invitation” would have done the work.
"I really didn't need a text. But on my side of it, I… yeah, I didn't handle it so well," shared Alexis.

In a separate Bravo interview, The Real Housewives of Orange County star revealed that she wasn't "interested" in the olive branch. She referred to that as "manipulation" from Alexis' side.
"Like, do ya think that I don't have anything going on (in my head)? Because, OK, you know that a trip's coming up and I don't like you. So, let's send her some flowers with an olive branch and be super cute."
According to Shannon, Alexis's idea of sending the "olive branch" has been an "opportune" moment. She received the flowers right before the girls' London trip, which Alexis couldn’t attend.
In response, Alexis mentioned that she didn't want to be "friends" with Shannon because there was "no way" a friendship could happen between them.
"I'm not asking her (Shannon) to be my friend. There's no way we could be friends. I know that. However, we are in the same circle of women and I just wanted the animosity to kind of squash. That was my point with the olive branch, and it's her birthday. So, okay, it was the perfect opportunity."
Alexis concluded her Bravo interview by saying that " nothing " could be done to make "anything civil" in the group of friends Shannon was a part of.
Fans might also know fellow The Real Housewives of Orange County housewife Heather Dubrow. Heather, who happens to be friends with both the housewives, shared her view on the "olive branch" situation.
Heather shared in her Bravo HQ Video that Alexis sending flowers, specifically the "olive branch," was a "really nice" gesture. However, as for the timing of it, it "felt suspect" to Shannon. She also mentioned that it has been "incredibly" hard to be friends with Alexis and Shannon because of such situations.
