Nasim Pedrad makes an interesting guest appearance in High Potential, as Clark's ex-wife, Nedda Donovan. Pedrad has done it all — from featuring in SNL sketches and the live-action Disney film Aladdin to playing the titular teenager boy in the TV series, Chad. Now, she has brought her charm to High Potential in Episode 11, and a different perspective to Barry's death.

Known for her sharp comedic timing and varied performances, Pedrad has transitioned seamlessly into the role of Nedda Donovan, who adds layers to Clark's past and even changes the trajectory of the established events.

High Potential Episode 11, titled The Sauna at the End of the Stairs, delves into the story of the 10-year-old murder case of Barry. The dead man's father-in-law, George, in a dying confession, said that he had pushed Barry down the stairs. However, it is subsequently revealed that it was Barry's son Cody who killed him because he was abusive to his mother. Cody staged the entire crime scene making people believe that Barry died in the sauna.

George was aware that it was his grandson Cody who committed the crime but he wanted to shield the young guy from arrest. Meanwhile, Barry's wife Heather, too, tried to take the blame but Selena assured since Cody was a minor, he would be released after serving a few years. In the meantime, Captain Pacheco seemed frustrated by Selena Soto's independent actions while acknowledging Morgan and her skills to solve the crime. Morgan and Adam also shared a sweet moment hinting towards an evolving dynamic in their relationship.

How did Nedda Donovan help solve the crime in High Potential Episode 11?

Nasim Pedrad's Nedda Donovan played a crucial role in Episode 11 of High Potential, helping unravel the truth behind Barry's death. She arrived at the police precinct with her camera crew to shed light on the Bucket Lane murder, and tried to convince Oz and Daphne that the documentary, The Sauna Stairs, was true, and that George's dying confession to the murder was an act.

Nedda said she was Clark's wife for 16 years and, hence, had been a part of the family. So, she was trying to protect the family name. Her perspective introduced key inconsistencies in Barry's timeline, which helped Selena and Morgan solve the crime. Nedda's assertion made them rethink about how Barry nay have died, and ultimately led them to infer Cody's staged coverup.

While Nedda didn't precisely point at Cody as the murderer, her revelations forced the investigating team to take a second look at the evidence leading to Cody's confession.
