Cole Brings Plenty played Pete Plenty Clouds in 1923
As previously mentioned, Brings Plenty portrayed the character of Pete Plenty Clouds, who was a herder just like his father, Hanks Plenty Clouds.
In season 1, Teonna Rainwater, played by Aminah Nieves, escapes an abusive Catholic school and encounters Greyeyes’s Hank Plenty, who helps her. She then meets his son, Cole Brings’ Pete Plenty and a bond starts to grow between them.
Their growing relationship might be explored in the new season. While talking to USA Today, Nieves, who played Teonna Rainwater, shared that Cole Brings was excited about his role in Season 2.
She said:
"He was so excited, especially when he learned that he was going to be in almost every episode. It was like, 'Wait, you're (like) my sister, and I'm your brother, which is kind of gross.' But he loved it."
As Cole’s character is important for Nieves’s Rainwaters' character arc, Jeremy Guana was recast in the role of Pete Plenty Clouds after Brings Plenty’s family approved the role.
The 36-year-old actor told USA Today:
"It is a lot of weight on my shoulders, but I gladly wear it. It’s a blessing."
Aminah Nieves also admired Guana’s portrayal of Pete Plenty and said:
"Jeremy did his absolutely best to honor Coco in the biggest possible way."
