After Love is Blind's seventh season premiere on Netflix on October 2, 2024, fans witnessed many events throughout the first phase of the show. As viewers are already aware, after contestants find their potential romantic connections, the show advances these "couples" to the next phase.

Despite getting engaged, one of the couples, Leo and Brittany, was excluded from the show. Leo, an art dealer who got engaged to Brittany, an esthetician, was neither followed as the couple was not taken to the show's next phase alongside the rest of the couples.

Fans witnessed how Leo, at first, was confused between Hannah and Brittany but ultimately chose the latter and proposed. However, after their engagement and first face-to-face meeting, Netflix showed a disclaimer informing viewers about Leo and Brittany's exclusion from the show.

After learning this from the show's creators, fans took to social media platform X to share their views and react to how the creators excluded Leo and Brittany from the next phase, i.e., honeymoon, on Love is Blind Season 7.

One of the fans wrote on X,

"How can Brittany & Leo not be one of the chosen couples???? what was the point of all that screen time DPMO! #LoveIsBlind7 #LoveIsBlind."

Another fan commented,

"I think they realized something about Leo, especially after the Hannah conversation and could not continue his story line. I'm curious if we'll see him later in the season."

One more fan shared,

"Wait so they don't put Leo and Brittany in the Mexico trip ?! Oh I know they're mad I think Leo is doing all of this for the camera time."

Another Love is Blind fan reacted,

"LOVE IS BLIND IS WILD BECAUSE TELL ME WHY THE PRODUCERS AIRED THE ENTIRE SHITSHOW THAT WAS BRITTANY AND LEO'S RELATIONSHIP JUST FOR THEM TO SAY THEY TOOK THEIR OWN TRIP TO MIAMI AND ENDED THEIR ENGAGEMENT SHORTLY AFTER SHOWING THEIR REVEAL ????"

One more fan commented,

"Dang, didn't see that comin'! Guess Leo and Brittany's story ain't endin' on "Love Is Blind" after all. Kinda bummed they won't be at the reunion, I was lookin' forward to seein' what happened next. Musta been some drama behind the scenes!"

Another show fan wrote on X,

"Producers really shoulda vetted the hell outta narcissist Leo before letting him loose on #LoveIsBlind The tantrum, gaslighting, manipulation with Hannah was twisted. Then switched to fake love bomb Brittany to stay on #LoveIsBlinds7 Absolute diabolical work!"

One mentioned,

"I think something must've gone on cause the producers pressure couples to stay til the wedding cause the pay is better the longer they stay."

Some of the fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming reunion as one of the fans wrote,

"I think we're gonna get all the details at the reunion. Hopefully Brittany shows up. I can't imagine Leo will."

A fan called it "producers' judgment," and shared,

"They don't always follow everyone who gets engaged they budget for six couples max and who to cut is a judgement call by the producers. They gave so much air time to Leo and Brittany because they were a big part of Hannah's story who they did decide to follow."

What happened between Leo and Brittany in Love is Blind Season 7?

Love is Blind Season 7 introduced various singles through the initially released episodes of the current season. Among various contestants was Leo, 31, who found his connection matched better with two female participants: Brittany, 33, and Hannah, 27.

After many things happened between Leo and the female participants, Leo proposed to Brittany, and they met for the first time in the social experiment.

However, soon, Netflix shared with the viewers,

"Brittany and Leo were not one of the six couples chosen by the producers to continue their journey to Mexico. They took their own trip to Mexico and broke off their engagement weeks later."

After learning about the creator's decision not to select Leo and Brittany to move forward with the show's format, fans seem to have been caught off-guard. Hence, some of the fans took to social media platform X to share their reactions to the situation.

Netflix is currently streaming the first six episodes of Love is Blind Season 7.
