Netflix's Love is Blind: Argentina recently aired the next four episodes, i.e., episodes five to eight, on November 13, 2024. The fifth episode of the segment featured engaged couples enjoying their days in Tulum, Mexico. They were there as part of their "honeymoon" phase of the social experiment.
Love is Blind: Argentina's debut season featured six engaged couples, initially. They were:
- Ezequiel and Julieta,
- Mauricio and María Emilia,
- Tom and Florfi,
- Roberto and Eva,
- Santiago and Emily,
- Matías and Brenda.
Apart from Matías and Brenda, the rest of the couples advanced to the next phase, the honeymoon phase, where they explored their physical connection with their partner. While doing that, the couples also got to spend time with fellow engaged couples, including María Emilia and Mauricio.
"I've always thought of it as a union. As marriage being the establishment of a union. That's the way that I've always seen it. Mauri feels familiar. I feel like I've known him for years," shared María Emilia.
Love is Blind: Argentina - Mauricio and María Emilia share their views on commitment
Love is Blind: Argentina Season 1 Episode 5 saw five engaged couples making it to the show's second phase. During that, María Emilia and Mauricio spent time together, similar to their fellow engaged couples.
Being the eldest couple on the social experiment, the couple spent their first day taking a stroll on the beach and opening up to each other about their insecurities. Later, during the honeymoon phase, the couple spent time with their fellow engaged couples.
The fifth episode of the social experiment featured couples María Emilia-Mauricio, Emily-Santiago, and Florfi-Tom. They were at a lagoon, which, according to the participants, was "beautiful" and felt like they were in the "middle of the jungle."
The participants enjoyed their time together, and they also got in the water and enjoyed that as well. Later, Santiago shared how his relationship with Emily was "evolving" daily.
While María Emilia stepped away, Emily asked Mauricio whether he was ready to "commit to marrying" María Emilia.
"For me, that's hard to say. I don't have a healthy family life. I never did. My parents were married. The only reference I have for what a family and marriage look like is them. Pia's (his daughter) mom and I separated when she was only a year old, and I felt like a total failure, you know, because I was a dad."
Love is Blind: Argentina male cast member added that he wanted his daughter Pia to have a family he never got to have. He further added that getting married was a "really big decision" to make.
When Florfi asked further about sharing his life with María Emilia, the male cast member shared that he and María Emilia had beautiful conversations, and that's what he wanted in a woman.
"A person that I can talk and laugh with. But I also need a strong woman. I need a mature woman. This trip is incredible. It brings us together in a way words can't describe, but I also know that we'll be going through a harder phase soon, which will be key to determining the state of our relationship," shared Mauricio.
Soon, María Emilia returned to the group and shared her thoughts on "getting married." She mentioned how she had always wanted to get married and admitted that she had been a "bit of a coward" in her previous relationships.
When Emily said not to say such things, María Emilia said she had already had this conversation with Mauricio and was fine with it.
The Love is Blind: Argentina female cast member shared in her confessional,
"There's still a lot to discover, but I like everything that I've learned about him so far. And he kind of fits the type of man that I've always imagined for myself."
Later in the segment, fellow participant Florfi also shared her thoughts on getting married and how she was still figuring out if she was "truly" there, going towards the "I do" moment.
Netflix is now streamlining Love is Blind: Argentina Season 1's episodes 1 to 8 exclusively.
