Apple TV's Silo Season 2, based on Hugh Howey's Wool, is increasing the stakes for Juliette and other characters with every episode.
Episode 6 ends with Solo nursing Juliette back after her infection, but he demands that she help him fix the drainage pump first. Otherwise, he will not hand her suit and helmet back.
While Juliette is desperate to go out and get the word out to the Mechanical and stop their rebellion, she cannot do this without her suit and helmet.
Juliette is able to help Solo and fix the pump, but Episode 7's ending suggests that Solo is not the lone survivor in Silo 17. When Juliette comes to the surface, she sees that Solo has disappeared, and there is blood on the floor, hinting that he has been attacked by someone.

Who happened to Solo in Silo Season 2 Episode 7?
In Silo Episode 7, after Solo explains that he is not in a condition to fix the pump himself and would die by drowning if Juliette does not help him, she feels sorry for him and agrees to help him, partly because she has no other choice (and he had her suit).
She decides that she will go underwater, and Solo will help her from the surface by pulling the basket's rope, allowing Juliette to swim upwards to the surface. She also makes a makeshift oxygen device, which would help her get oxygen underwater.
She dived underwater with Solo on the surface and reached the pump. She managed to fix the drainage pump and stop the water, but just as she was about to swim upwards, she realized that her bucket's rope had collapsed and someone had also cut her oxygen. Thinking that Solo betrayed her, since she is the only survivor in Silo 17, she manages to get to the surface through another rope.
But to her surprise, Solo has disappeared from the surface, and she finds an ax and an arrow with blood smeared on it, hinting that Solo was not the only survivor and he has been taken by someone, probably by the other survivors, which might be revealed in the next episode.

Since Season 2 is based on the second half of Wool, it is interesting that the writers changed the story slightly from the books. While the incident occurs in Wool, where Juliette plunges underwater and her oxygen gets cut off, she finds Solo when she reaches the surface.
However, similar to the show, someone has attacked him, but they do not take him with them. Juliette finds Solo with his eyes shut and attacked with a wrench and blood pooling by his side.
This is also one of the most important plot points in the book, where Solo reveals his true identity to Juliette and tells her about the other survivors in Solo 17, who probably attacked him in the show, too.
