The White Lotus Season 3 finale gave an epic conclusion to the storyline of various hotel guests, but left some questions unanswered. While all members of the Ratliff family made it out alive, the season ended without revealing how they would react to the news of going bankrupt and Timothy facing jail.
All through the season, the elite family from the Southern US grappled with different issues, and they certainly could not imagine their lives without money and comfort. Hence, audiences were eager to find out how things would pan out for them once they leave Thailand and lose all their money.
In an interview with Business Insider, Jason Isaacs, who plays the patriarch Timothy Ratliff, revealed that the family would have a lot to worry about as soon as their phones start ringing after the events of The White Lotus Season 3:
“I don't know, I think when their phones start pinging, there are other things they'll be far more concerned about in the short term. Like, where are we going to live? How am I going to pay my cellphone bill?”
“How are we going to put food in the fridge? All of their life plans have just been blown up. Piper wouldn't be going back to the monastery, whether she wanted to or not, because they won't be able to afford a plane ticket.”

Jason Isaacs also talked about whether Timothy would tell his family about how he tried to poison them, which almost killed Lochlan in The White Lotus Season 3 finale. Highlighting how Timothy has changed over the course of the show, he said:
“I think Tim is going to do an awful lot of taking his own inventory and do an awful lot of soul-searching, and I think he will come clean about all of it. I think Tim's a new man.”
The actor added that while most people did not undergo a significant transformation in The White Lotus Season 3, his character was able to develop significantly during the course of the show:
“Most people don't change. Mike [White] is far too good a writer to give everyone huge changes. They don't change that much. Now, their circumstances are going to change a lot, and who knows what the Ratliffs will become when they have to face their new lives? But Tim has changed enormously, almost completely."
In The White Lotus Season 3, the Ratliffs arrive at the resort for a vacation at the behest of their daughter, Piper, who lies about wanting to write a thesis about Thailand’s monasteries. As soon as they arrive, Timothy gets a call about how he has been caught up in a massive tax fraud and would be losing all his riches.
Timothy hides the information from his family and relies on medicines to keep himself calm. He eventually crumbles under pressure, realizing how his materialistic family would not be able to survive without money, and attempts to kill them with a poisoned shake. While he drops the plan, Lochlan ends up drinking the shake the next morning and almost dies before regaining his consciousness.
In their final scene, the family heads back from the resort on a boat where Timothy tells them that their lives are going to change soon, but the show ends without depicting the moment when they would have the realization about their fate.
