Netflix's Love is Blind returned with the first six episodes of the latest season on October 2, 2024. The popular dating experiment introduced singles looking for their potential connection, aka their "the one."
Among various participants, the show featured Leo, an art dealer, and Brittany, an esthetician. After a few things that happened on the show, including Leo's confusion between Brittany and Hannah, Leo and Brittany got engaged in the social experiment.
After their situation seemed quite complicated, the show decided to drop Leo and Brittany's journey out of the experiment. However, the newly engaged couple wanted to explore each other's connection. Hence, they decided to go on their "own" separate trip. Here are all the things that have happened ever since Leo and Brittany left the experiment.
Leo and Brittany's journey "outside" Love is Blind: Explored
After his initial dates, Leo found two participants to be his potential matches: Hannah and Brittany. Hannah also had another potential connection, Nick. She decided to explore her connection with Nick while Leo proposed to Brittany.
Despite Brittany's dislike for being the "second choice," Leo assured her there wouldn't be any "obstacles" in their path, as Netflix describes it.
Later, the Love is Blind star referred to her first meeting with Leo as one of her "most awkward" moments.
"I was surprised because I'm very intuitive. I could talk to (him) behind the wall and have this emotional and intellectual connection, but in person, I was like, 'Oh, f***. This is not my husband'. He was proposing (again), and I was like, 'This is not right,'" shared Brittany.
Referring to that "crazy moment." Brittany shared that they "leaned" into each other and added that no one can predict "physical chemistry" through the wall.
After that, Netflix revealed that Leo and Hannah would no longer be part of the show even though they got engaged. The rest of the couples were then sent to the next phase of the show. Leo learned that his liking for Brittany was "more" than hers. Therefore, he wanted to explore "further" and get to know Brittany better.
The duo went off-camera to explore each other and spend time together. Leo described their time away from the show as "electric."
"We would still have these long, deep talks about spirituality. But ultimately (he) was just like a friend. We'd go to bed together, and I'm like, 'Nothing here.'" shared Brittany.
As a result, the couple agreed to "go their separate ways," as they describe it as things "fizzled out" between them. Even though the duo "walked away" from the show, they had no regrets. Brittany chose to look at the situation as,
"I really think that he's a friend for life."
Love is Blind star also mentioned that things "could have gone" badly, but they didn't.
Leo mentioned that Love is Blind has been an "unconventional" experiment for him, but it was "worth the risk." He shared that he had never felt "so much emotion" in such a short span, and because of that, it felt "really scary."
"While it also opened up myself to being hurt, I realized that going forward, that's the only way I'll truly find someone that I’m meant to be with for the rest of my life," shared Leo.
As for Leo's previous potential connection, Hannah has found her partner, Nick, in Love is Blind Season 7. She then advanced to the show's next phase with her connection.
Fans can stream Love is Blind Season 7's first six episodes on Netflix and witness everything between Leo and Brittany.
