"I'll be honest, I like to share a lot of things but this is one that's still kind of tough. But I think it's so important to talk about it so that you can see yourself in the conversation that we're about to have."

He talked with Lauren about the changes the duo has faced since coming across fertility issues. On the contrary, Lauren feels that their struggles with fertility have made them "more connected."

"It has made us feel more connected. I think we support each other, we're more in tune now. I feel like in marriage, or any type of relationship, when you go through something that's big and heavy or weighs on your heart, it creates a bond."

"When I saw what you were going through in terms of of taking the medications, doing the daily shots knowing that IVF and all this stuff wasn't really something that you naturally wanted to do but you did it for me — you showed me a new level of love that I'd never seen before," added Cameron.

In the latter part of the podcast, Cameron, 34, also offered some advice for men who might also be going through similar fertility struggles with their partners. He said that men's "first instinct" is to fix things. Hence, whenever they started to feel "struggling," the first thing that he wanted to do was research fertility.

"When we've been struggling to conceive, my first instinct is to dive into the research on fertility, IVF, try to consume everything I can (and) come up with a strategy, how are we going to improve the next time."

As he shared, he "consumed" everything and prepared a strategy to get things done better and "improved" from the next time onwards.
