Netflix's much-awaited experiment, Love is Blind: Habibi aired all the episodes on the platform on October 10, 2024. Fans got to binge-watch all nine episodes on the same day. Throughout the social experiment, viewers witnessed many participants from which some found their connections. Others went home single, still searching for love.
For the couples who found their significant others, one of them was Safa and Mohammed. The female participant is a financial manager working in the energy sector, and her fiance is a marketing and brand manager. After finding each other to be their "match," they got engaged and decided to explore their connection.

With the rest of the engaged couples on the social experiment, Safa and Mohammed also went on to the next phase of the show. For that, Netflix sent them to a vacation resort to spend more time together and learn more about each other's choices and differences.

The social experiment's fourth episode featured the first date between Safa, 37, and Mohammed, 36. After getting engaged during the pods phase of the show, the couple has been looking forward to spending more time with each other.
When they saw each other, Safa noticed Mohammed's tattoos across his legs and forearms.
"I love tattoos. So I was just watching," confessed Safa.
The male cast member took the lead and initiated the conversation. He told Safa that she looked like Eva Mendes and that he had always been since he was a "little kid," crazy about Eva Mendes.
"Swear to God, there's something about you that I love a lot. You are a shy person. This kills me, by the way. Your shyness is what makes me go crazy," said Mohammed.
He shared about being able to get closer to her. Love is Blind: Habibi star asked him what he was worrying about. Mohammed shared that he "worries a lot." Safa said she shared that with her fiance, as she also worries a lot.
"That's why I was worried when you told me about your travels. Just to get things straight, when are you going to start traveling?"
Safa mentioned her work schedule, which requires her to catch a flight every Sunday. She flies from Dubai to Basra. She added that her returns are either Thursday or Wednesday, depending on her work.
The Love is Blind: Habibi star mentioned repeating the same schedule for about three years. After learning of that, the male cast member teased her, saying that she could not do that after he saw her face.
He expressed his concerns about Safa's work schedule and asked her whether that situation could change.
Safa mentioned the possibility of working on a different project or in a different company. She suggested that she could spend alternative weeks in Dubai and Iraq. He was concerned about Safa's continuous traveling and moving from one place to another.
Seeing his worries and showing concern, Safa found it more of her "liking."
"But the issue is that, the job that I'm doing right now, I really love, and it means a lot to me. I need to find a solution for sure," shared Safa.
Despite not wanting any distance between them, the Love is Blind: Habibi star told Safa to decide what "suits her best." He didn't want to interfere in her work.
"Safa was the right choice. Long distance is a big problem, things won't be easy, but we can figure it out." Mohammed confessed.
In a separate confession, the female cast member also shared how things would be new and important. The couple ended their first meeting outside the pods with their hand in hand, on a sweet note.
