Netflix's Love is Blind: Argentina aired its debut season on November 6, 2024. The first season of the social experiment featured 32 participants looking for their "love." Among them were Tom Martorello, 27, Florencia Fernandez, 28, and Florfi Frers, 27.
As featured on the second day of the social experiment's blind dates, Tom had a date with Florfi. Since their first date, the duo has found various common interests. While Tom confessed how "the sea" humbles him and keeps him grounded, Florfi has also been a "sea" person, as she described how she would love to settle somewhere near the sea in her "ideal world."
"I lived in Miramar for a few months, on the coast," shared Florfi.
As for Tom's first date with Florencia, he mentioned that he had "many plants" while Florencia shared her four cats, who were part of the family. Later, on their date, the female cast member opened up about her interests, including Music, which Tom found to be a mutual interest.
Seeing many similar qualities they both were attracted to, Tom shared that Florencia topped his "list." As for Florencia, she put a heart on Tom's name in her diary to remember how compatible they are. After his first dates with Florfi and Florencia, Tom told the cameras that both cast members topped his list of favorite contestants.
On the fourth day of the experiment's blind dates on Love is Blind: Argentina, Tom and Florencia requested another date. During the date, the duo discussed various topics, including relationships, jealousy, toxic partners, and more.
"Will he be my husband?" Florencia asked the cameras.
Tom also went on a date with Florfi. He discussed how couples also need personal space while in a relationship, to which Florfi agreed and shared similar views.
Love is Blind: Argentina Episode 2 - Tom's dilemma between Florfi and Florencia
As featured in Love is Blind: Argentina Episode 2, Tom was torn between Florfi and Florencia. On his next date with Florfi, Tom had been familiar with Florfi's voice since their date started, and they both felt drawn to each other. The couple seems to have formed a strong connection.
Later that day, both female cast members discussed Tom in the women's lounge. On the show's sixth day of blind dates, Tom had a series of a few more blind dates with both Florfi and Florencia.
While Tom was still exploring his connection with both female cast members, on one of his dates with Florencia, she mentioned "being in love" with Tom, which surprised him.
"I'm in love. It's all too much. I can already see the wedding happening. I'm just dying for Tom to get down on one knee and propose," confessed Florencia.
The female participant told the cameras that she could see Tom as her husband. Seeing such behavior from Florencia confused Florfi, who then had dates with other male cast members.
Later, when Florencia's behavior raised questions in Tom's mind, she also didn't feel good about why Tom took too long to decide.
While Tom had another blind date with Florfi, the duo talked about their emotional connections and how their life would be, potentially. It made both the cast mates emotional, which also led Tom towards clarity, as he shared,
"My feelings are gradually becoming much clearer, and it's time to be straight with Florencia and let her know that Florfi is the one I connect with."
On his next date with Florencia in the show's second episode, Tom wished her good luck and hoped she would find beautiful things in her life. Love is Blind: Argentina star's decision didn't sit well with her.
For the next blind date with Florfi, Tom sent her flowers and chocolates, which surely the female castmate appreciated and showed as "efforts" from Tom's side. When Tom proposed, Florfi reciprocated the feelings and said, "Yes."
