However, later in the series, Julian makes a surprising appearance when Manish Dayal's Devon (Julian's love interest) sees her for the first time after the accident. Julian showed up at Chastain Park’s morbidity and mortality conference, where she took to the stage and exposed QuoVadis.
Julian confessed to regretting working at QuoVadis, a company that engaged in fraud. She later informed Devon about escaping the accident soon after her car hit the river. Nobody except for Marshall Winthrop (played by Glenn Morshower) knew about Julian's survival after the accident.

However, their long-awaited moment didn't last long, as Julian had to prioritize her non-profit organization and could barely make time for Devon.
Following her decision to continue traveling for her new work, Julian and Devon couldn't continue their relationship. The two decided to pursue their career goals and moved on from each other.
