Since the beloved franchise is all about the future, Jean-Luc Picard's life started in 2305. Picard entered the Starfleet Academy after he developed a passion for space and graduated in 2327.

He initially commanded the USS Stargazer, but it was destroyed later. It was difficult for Picard, but he then secured the captain's position for the USS Enterprise-D and had a crew including Riker, Data, and Dr. Crusher.

One of the key moments in Picard's life after taking charge of the Enterprise was his clash with Q. The god-like entity would continually challenge Picard's morality, compelling the captain to explain why he existed.

Throughout his profession, Picard encountered serious challenges, one of which was his Locutus of Borg transformation in Star Trek: The Next Generation. Once he became a representative for the horrific Borg collective, Picard remained with traumatizing events.

But he finally regained his humanity and was able to defeat the Borg. Not only this, Jean-Luc Picard also had to face tensions with the Romulan Empire. He found it difficult to balance defense and diplomacy. But Picard did not lose hope and kept going until the end.

As previously mentioned, Jean-Luc Picard has encountered several life-threatening situations in his life, and the most harrowing was after he took charge of the Enterprise-E. He faced an unavoidable fate in Star Trek: Picard Season 1 as a brain abnormality resulted in his tragic death.

However, he was revived through a synthetic body, and later, in 2401, Jean-Luc Picard was honored with the position of Chancellor of Starfleet Academy. Since it wasn't his first time being a leader, it was easy for Picard to prove his skills and passion for space missions.
