Gloria Dayton, also known as Glory Days was a sex worker first seen in The Lincoln Lawyer Season 1. She played a major role in the Jesus Menendez case as a key witness in it. Lawyer Mickey Haller, played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo was the protagonist working on the case.
She had testified that the man who killed Martha had a tattoo on his arm. This helped clear Menendez’s name as he did not have a tattoo.
Gloria and Mickey Haller’s relationship goes beyond the case. Gloria’s testimony did not just help the case but also brought to light the corrupt law enforcement members who were responsible for silencing her. After the Menendez case, she was nowhere to be seen in the series before reappearing in Season 2.

In Season 2, we saw Gloria again. Lorna informed Mickey of Glory Days’ arrest for drug possession. Mickey met Glory to find out the truth and she told him that she was being set up by someone. She told him that she was paid with cocaine by one of her clients, and the next one turned out to be an undercover cop. He arrested her for drug possession.
Mickey managed to get her out of jail, but little did she know that her troubles would not end there. Russel had been waiting for her release to tie up loose ends to make sure that all evidence related to his true identity was erased.
Cisco, Mickey’s investigator, found out that someone was plotting to kill Gloria. Thankfully, Cisco and the police were always one step ahead so they prevented any harm. After this, Gloria told Mickey that she planned to go back to her family in Hawaii. Mickey even received a postcard from her later in the season, suggesting she followed through with her plan.
What happened to Gloria Dayton at the end of The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2?
Glory’s hope for a fresh start did not go as planned. At the end of Season 2, Mickey got a new client, Julian LaCosse. He went to visit him in jail and LaCosse informed him that he had been accused of murdering one Giselle Dallinger.
He was asked by Giselle to call Mickey if anything went wrong. Mickey told him that he did not know anyone of that name. However, when he went to the mortuary to see the deceased, he got the shock of his life. It turns out that Giselle was actually Gloria Dayton. Mickey had a shocked and devastated look on his face as he saw Gloria’s dead body lying on the table.
Season 3 will likely give us all the answers and dig deep into the reason behind Gloria’s death.
Meanwhile, there has been plenty of speculation by fans on the possible reasons behind her death. One of those is that Gloria’s past caught up with her and those dangerous people put her down once and for all. Another possibility could be that the series is following the book’s course of story.
In the books, Gloria Dayton, who goes under the alias “Glenda the Good Witch,” was killed by Andre LaCosse after a confrontation with him. There was the possibility of a corrupt law enforcement officer being involved too.
Though Fiona Rene’s character is dead now, we might see her again in the role as flashbacks will be important to uncover the mystery around her death.
