Interview with a Vampire has several prominent characters, but none more profound than Claudia and her role in Louis' (Jacob Anderson) story in Interview with a Vampire. So, what happened to Claudia, played by Bailey Bass and Delainey Hayles?
Claudia is known for being a demure yet tenacious and powerful vampire. At the end of episode 7 of season 2, Claudia's fate is finally unveiled as predicted in the books, even though this is something fans hoped the creators would modify.
In the aftermath of Claudia, Madeleine (played by Roxane Duran), and Louis' rebellion against an archaic law, the trio is tormented by members of Aramand's coven. As emphasized in Interview with a Vampire, the stone-cold creatures deem their laws sacred.
With Lestat de Lioncourt (played by Sam Reid) making a strong case against them, her chance to escape death proves futile. While Louis is exiled from the coven as a means to pardon him, Claudia and her friend are unlucky. Despite eager pleas and cries for help, Aramand is compelled to end their lives. Claudia's death is a haunting affair: she sings passionately while her body is set ablaze. Her last words are:
"I don't like windows when they're closed..."
Despite Lestat's role in Madeleine's death, he stands there motionless and glassy-eyed as their bodies are reduced to nothing.

Before her demise, Claudia endures the plight of living in the body of a 14-year-old for eternity. Furthermore, she gets entangled in the web of a complex love triangle involving Louis and her maker, Lestat.
However, after the abuse and torment, she seeks revenge. Sadly for Claudia, her quest to kill Lestat became her undoing in Interview with a Vampire.
In the show, the actress playing Claudia summarized the many emotions she felt at her character's conclusion on the show, saying:
"It felt like, whew. I thought I'd feel more stress before, with the anxiety of filming, but actually, it was afterward. It felt like, Oh my God, her story's done!"
Does Claudia come back to life in Interview with a Vampire?
Claudia is burnt alive at Aramand's hearing, disintegrates to dust, and does not come back to life in Interview with a Vampire. Moreover, other members of the cast, including Sam Reid and Hayles, claim that Claudia's death was an unavoidable end.
