Netflix's most awaited Emily in Paris season 4 has finally made its way to our screens. The globally acclaimed drama series has been gaining all the love from fans, as they finally know what happened after Camille refused to marry Gabriel in the last episode of season 3.
Emily in Paris season 4 began with a bombshell viral Instagram video by Camille's brother claiming how Emily Cooper ruined his family’s life, focusing on her love triangle with Gabriel and Alfie.
Even though Emily started a romantic relationship with Alfie after ending things with Gabriel, Camille's brother alleged that she has been faking love for her current boyfriend, and is still in love with the fan-favorite chef, Gabriel.
The video fanned the flames in her personal and professional life, and Emily had to make things right before the French Open. As seen in the first episode titled, Break Point, Alfie is devastated to learn that Emily and Gabriel liked each other. He feels betrayed and misled by Emily, does not return her calls, and blocks her on social media.
However, the AMI 'Love is in the Air' campaign led Emily and Alfie to share a kiss, but little did Emily know it was a kiss of heartbreak as Alfie ended his relationship with Cooper.
Does Emily end up with Alfie in Emily in Paris season 4?
Before getting back with Gabriel in Emily in Paris season 4, Emily was tangled in a web of confusion. She was on the way to the masquerade when Gabriel confessed to having feelings for Emily, making her choose between him and Alfie.
Emily meets Gabriel and Alfie at the masquerade and finally decides to love Gabriel at the end. This leads Alfie heartbroken twice, as he watches Emily and Gabriel leave the event to spend time.
So, Alfe couldn't get back with Emily as she had already chosen Gabriel, and the two started dating. After the third episode of Emily in Paris season 4, Alfie isn't seen anywhere.
Maybe he's recovering from the heartbreak by staying away from her, or it might be possible Alfie's arc in Emily in Paris has concluded. However, the second part of Emily in Paris season 4 is yet to come out in September, and fans are waiting to see if Alfie makes an appearance.
How did Emily in Paris season 4 part one end?
Since the first season of Emily in Paris, many fans have wanted to see Emily and Gabriel as a long-standing happy couple, but the love triangles always created hurdles in their relationship.
Even though Gabrile was with Camille and Emily fell for Alfie, the two still had feelings that they couldn't bury. As seen in Emily in Paris season 4, Emily and Gabriel are finally together as an adorable couple, and Camille seems to be jealous.
Now that Sofia has left Paris, and it is later revealed that Camille was never pregnant, she is still lying to everyone, faking her pregnancy. In the last episode of part one, titled Trompe l'oneil, Gabriel and Emily are enjoying a party with their friends, and Camille doesn't seem to be happy about them.
Despite being stressed and exhausted, Camille pretended to be happy and joined the celebration. She's dancing with Gabriel and Cooper, and a waiter asks if she would have a drink.
Since Camille hasn't revealed to anyone that she isn't having Gabriel's baby, she refuses to drink claiming to be pregnant. The episode ends with this, hinting at the upcoming drama that Camille will create in Emily's life.
