Netflix aired the much-awaited Love is Blind Season 7 on October 2, 2024. The latest season of the social experiment introduced various singles looking for their true "love." Two contestants, who eventually became a couple, were Hannah Jiles, 27, and Nick Dorka, 29.

Nick and Hannah fell for each other from their initial pod dates, where participants get to know their potential partners without "seeing" them but only "talking" to them. After choosing each other, they had their big "reveal" as per the show's format.

Earlier on the show, Hannah was quite vocal about her type of "men," which was "athletic," from her past relationships. Nick, during their time in the pods, told her that he was also "exactly" that as he was into bodybuilding and working out.

However, Hannah felt otherwise, and after their first meeting, the medical device sales representative confessed,

"In the pods, he described himself as a football player — bigger, medium build, like 5-foot-11. And what he said, I don't think is really truthful. It is making me feel a little bit insecure because I feel like I'm bigger than him."

Love is Blind Season 7: Hannah opens up about Nick D. after their first face-to-face meeting

Love is Blind star Nick, who confessed to never having been in "love," found his potential love on the social experiment in the form of Hannah, 27. In college, Nick was a footballer, while Hannah was a cheerleader. Such similarities, shared, developed a bond.

"I'll be your Taylor Swift, and you can be my Travis Kelce," shared Hannah.

Most of the other female contestants on Love is Blind Season 7 found Nick to be a "smooth talker" during their initial dates. Hannah found him to be the one who makes her "feel alive." In the first episode, Hannah can be seen sharing that Nick seems like "the love of her life" with her fellow female participants.

Despite connecting with Nick on various things, Hannah had some doubts about Nick's views of "appearances" since their discussion. When she raised the same, Nick told her,

"I want you to be unapologetically you. I don't care what you look like or what you wear."

Hannah ended things with Nick; however, soon, she regretted her decision and gave Nick another chance at love. After apologizing to Nick, their relationship got stronger, and then they met for the first time, first face-to-face.

Love is Blind Season 7 Episode 5: Hannah and Nick's first meeting

The fifth episode of the social experiment featured Hannah and Nick's first face-to-face meeting. Before their meeting, Hannah confessed,

"He played football. He’s a jock. He talks about how he works out. And I think he’s gonna have a lot of swag."

After their meeting, Nick told her that she looked "absolutely beautiful" and asked for another hug. While Hannah confessed that before their actual meeting, Nick described himself as "bigger, medium build" and "5 '11'," she felt that it wasn't "really truthful."

"I'm like a foot taller than him. I've never dated someone shorter than me. Um, something new. But that's what this experiment is to try something new and different from what you would date in the real world," confessed Hannah.

Before the Love is Blind premiere, Nick had an interview with USA TODAY, published on October 3, 2024. He shared,

"I like to work out. Obviously, my past in football came up. People can take those words and kind of formulate a mental image of what a person looks like."

In her interview with USA TODAY, Hannah opened up and shared that she "never really felt" that Nick love-bombed her.

While things have been smooth between the couple, the dynamics shifted after Nick was seen involved in a "flirtatious" encounter. Soon, Hannah had receipts about what "concerns" she had in their relationship.

Fans can stream the first six episodes of Love is Blind Season 7 on Netflix to witness how Hannah and Nick fall in love on the show.
