Moss-Bachrach is an American-born actor of Jewish heritage who lives in Brooklyn. Per Hey Alma, the actor was born in New York City on March 19, 1977, to a Jewish father from Germany who moved to the States where he met his mother, Renee.

Cousin Richie and Carmy are two peas in a pod who often argue but resolve their disagreements. Over the last 2 seasons of the show, the duo has been getting into some pretty heated altercations but none as tumultuous as Season 3. While Moss-Bachrach's character has had significant growth, he’s still had a pretty rocky ride.
This season, Richie made impressive strides by actually contributing to the restaurant’s development. Not only did he professionally take control of the staff but also pitched in during the opening night of the restaurant. Instead of being his usual obnoxious self, he was cordial to the customers.
However, peace doesn’t last long as Carmy begins complaining about Claire (his love interest), causing Richie to intervene and resulting in them butting heads. Their argument gets blown out of proportion and they do not speak to each other for the remainder of the season.

Per an interview with Hey Alma, Moss-Bachrach enjoys the process of cooking. He has displayed his love for creating baked goods on social media and stated that he's "NOT A COVID BAKER."
In a post on Instagram, the actor claimed he's an inspired baker and has baked at least two loaves of bread per week, for the last 15 years of his life! Additionally, he loves to dabble in roasting chicken and is actively attempting to create the perfect French Omelet.
