Clayton Cardenas has been cast as one of the first new characters that viewers will get to see in Mayor of Kingstown Season 4. Cardenas will have a recurring role as Deputy Warden Torres, as reported by Deadline.

His character will be shown as the main man of Anchor Bay Prison’s new Warden. Though not much is known about his character or how much interaction he will be having with Mike (Jeremy Renner), it seems that he will have a decent level of importance in the show.

Given the significance of the prison in the Mayor of Kingstown, it is only natural that the secondary warden of that prison will be an important character. Upon the official confirmation of the news, Cardenas shared a post on Instagram with the caption “Grateful”.

Moreover, it should also be remembered that season 3 ended with several deaths, including major ones like Milo Sunter (Aiden Gillen), Iris (Emma Laird), and Captain Kareem Moore (Michael Beach).

This has significantly reduced the number of characters, and thus introducing new ones makes sense.
