The first season followed Wednesday Addams, who was expelled from school for attempting to harm her brother’s bullies. She then joined Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts, and uncovered a mystery involving a dangerous monster attacking people in the area. While making friends with Enid and Tyler, she had conflicts with students like Bianca and Xavier.

During her investigation, Wednesday initially suspected Xavier and her therapist Dr. Kinbott of being connected to the monster. However, she later found out that Tyler was the monster being controlled by their teacher, Marilyn Thornhill, who was actually Laurel Gates.

Laurel’s plan was to revive Crackstone to destroy the outcasts. In the end, Wednesday and her friends stopped Laurel’s plan, and Enid helped defeat Tyler. The season ended with Wednesday receiving a strange message from a stalker.

Wednesday Season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix.
