Weak Hero Class 2 is finally coming to Netflix this year. The streaming network recently shared the release window of the highly anticipated K-drama.
As per Netflix, the show will premiere in Q2 of 2025, meaning it is slated to be released between April and June of this year on Netflix. However, a premiere date has not been announced yet.
The show stars Yeon Si-eun, played by Park Ji-hoon, whose life gets entangled when he stands up to his bullies. The action thriller is based on the webtoon Weak Hero by Kim Jin-seok (Razen) and Seopass.

When will Weak Hero Class 2 premiere on Netflix? Details explored
Weak Hero Class 1 was initially released on Viki on November 18, 2022, and was loved by fans of K-dramas.
Then, in December 2023, Netflix shared on X that the second season of the beloved drama is on its way. The drama began filming in 2024 and wrapped up in June of the same year. Just like the previous season, the new season will also have eight episodes.
Park Je-hoon will be joined by several new cast members in Weak Hero Class 2, which includes Lee Min-jae (Crash Course in Romance) as Go Hyun-tak, Ryeoun (Twinkling Watermelon and 18 Again) as Park Hu-min, Lee Jun-young (When Life Gives You Tangerine and Melo Movie) as Geum Seong-jae, Choi Min-young (Twenty Five Twenty One and XO, Kitty) as Seo Jun-tae.
Other than that, Yoo Su-bin, who appeared in Season 1, will also be a part of Weak Hero Class 2 as Choi Hyo-man.
What is Netflix’s Weak Hero Class 2 about?
The official synopsis of Weak Hero Class 2 reads:
"Once the bullies target you, it’s game over. The school is run by tyrants whose favorite hobby is tormenting the weakest kids in class. But then Shi Eun arrived. This mysterious new student threatens to dismantle the established order. He may be small in stature, but his calculative and brutal fighting leaves unsuspecting opponents lying on the floor begging for mercy. Now the school’s toughest bullies have to scramble to take down this new and unusual hero."
At the end of Season 1, Ji-hoon takes revenge for his friend Ahn Su-ho, who ends up in a coma after being attacked by an MMA fighter. He later transfers to Eunjang High as no other school takes him due to Oh Beom-seok’s father’s connections, where he will encounter new bullies and face more challenges ahead.
The end of Season 1 also showed Si-eun's former friend Beom-seok being sent abroad by his father to continue his studies while Su-ho lies in a coma. It has not yet been revealed if we will get to see more of Su-ho or Beom-seok in the new season.
However, we can be sure that Si-eun’s life won’t be easy in his new school, and his fight against the bullies might further intensify.
