Kaos Season 2 officially stands canceled by Netflix. Created by Charlie Covell, Kaos was released in August 2024 and belongs to the mythological black comedy genre. The eight-episode series is a contemporary take on Zeus and other gods of Greek and Roman Mythology.

Kaos's plot revolves around Zeus who is as powerful as he is insecure. Having imprisoned his fellow god Prometheus for going against him, Zeus sees a wrinkle on his forehead and becomes insecure about his reign coming to an end. Unknown to Zeus, Prometheus enlists the help of a prophecy and three oblivious mortal humans to bring down Zeus.

Kaos stars Jeff Goldblum, Janet McTeer, Aurora Perrineau, Cliff Curtis, David Thewlis, Rakie Ayola, Killian Scott, Leila Farzad, Nabhaan Rizwan, Debi Mazar, Stephen Dillane, Misia Butler, Mat Fraser, Stanley Townsend, and Billie Piper.

On October 8, 2024, Netflix announced that audiences would not get to see the Greek gods on the screen again. The platform officially canceled Kaos Season 2. The series premiered with 3.4 million views in the first week and went up to 5.9 million views in its second week which was the show's peak viewership.

In its third week, the series saw a decrease in viewership with 3.4 million views. For the first four weeks after its release, the show ranked high on the Netflix Top 10 charts but eventually slipped in rankings.
