What happened in Episode 5: A quick recap

Watson Season 1 Episode 5 "The Man With the Glowing Chest" focuses on a patient named Taryn, who has been struggling with a severe disease. Taryn's condition resulted in a stroke and affected her vision, and the high cost of gene therapy makes her feel hopeless.

After learning that the procedure is too expensive, John Watson decides to cure Taryn himself, and since it's illegal, he tries not to share all the details with his allies. The doctor gets help from a CRISPR expert and later performs the risky surgery.
