What happened in the previous episode of Watson?

In season 1, episode 2, John and his team took on an unusual case involving Andrew Tanner, a man who survived a gunshot wound to the head but started showing strange psychological symptoms.

Andrew, an actor who once played British officer Patrick Ferguson in a theater production, suddenly believed he was Ferguson. He spoke with a British accent, failed to recognize his family, and completely adopted the persona of the historical figure.

Doctors suspected that either the bullet lodged in his brain or an underlying psychological condition caused this behavior.
