CBS's Watson saw an iconic character from Sherlock Holmes' canon make their debut in Season 1 Episode 10, who was none other than Detective Lestrade.

The latest episode saw the Detective team up with John on a peculiar 'Alien Hand syndrome' case and it is hinted that the doctor will continue to solve future cases with the veteran detective.

Elsewhere, Moriarty asked Shinwell to collect all of John's fellow's DNA for an unspecified reason, suggesting that the super-villain is planning something big.

Here is the complete recap of Watson Season 1 Episode 10.

Watson Season 1 Episode 10 recap: John gets an unusual case

This week's case for Watson is a man named Cameron Phipps with an Alien hand syndrome, in which his left hand works according to its own free will. With the increasing problems in his daily life, Cameron begs John to amputate his left hand, but the doctor refuses to comply.

However, John understands the severity of Cameron's condition when he visits his clinic after his left hand poured acid on him without his will, giving him severe burns. While John numbs Cameron's left hand so that it could not harm him again, he plans to perform an experimental surgery to disconnect his left hand from his brain.

While John prepares for the surgery, Cameron's alien hand wakes up once again and this time, it pushes his older brother in front of a moving bus, killing him. While many witnesses saw Cameron push his brother and Detective Lestrade arrested him, John bailed Cameron out saying that it was his alien hand's doing.

Watson Season 1 Episode 10 recap: Cameron is found guilty

While John was convinced that Cameron is innocent, a meeting with his househelp raised suspicions for him. His house help revealed Cameron's failed lab-grown meat business and how he had tried to build it four times but failed.

This forced John and Shinwell to look at the security footage when Cameron's alien hand pushed his older brother. They see that Cameron intentionally waited till the moving bus was in front of them and only then pushed his brother in front of it. Since he is convinced that Cameron intended to push his brother, he looked at his family's medical records.

The Phipp family's medical records reveal their rare 'promiscuity gene', which leads to a person's impulsive decesions, explaining why Cameron failed all his business endeavors. John also finds a medical student who was paid by Cameron to practice burns on his body, so that his alien hand story would hold some gravitas.

Together with the student's testimony, he proves that Cameron willingly murdered his brother because he wanted all of his family's business.
