Reacher Season 3 Episode 7 has finally given the deserved screen time to a much-anticipated and returning character, Frances Neagly (an ex-military and someone who has been very close to Jack Reacher). The two share a unique bond, even though they hardly remain in touch regularly, not to mention that Neagley still addresses Reacher as 'boss.'

She was a part of the 110th Special Investigation Unit headed by Reacher and has been associated with a number of crucial operations alongside him over the years. Neagley is a character who portrays presence of mind, agility, and resilience.

Her appearance in the latest Reacher Season 3 episode confirms that she has now joined forces with her 'boss' to catch Xavier Quinn. Her iconic line has left us wondering:

"I was coming one way or another."

Given that a Reacher spin-off named Neagley is already in development, these words absolutely make sense. They also mean that Neagley always has Reacher's back, even if he does not want her to. Now, how her own show unfolds and further connects to the world of Reacher is yet to be learnt!

Neagley was "coming one way or another," and she always has Reacher's back

Frances Neagley, having had her bit with the Army, now operates as a private investigator stationed in Chicago, Illinois. Since her very first appearance on the show,Neagley has been portrayed as a brave soldier with commendable combat skills as well as investigative expertise.

Though she made a short appearance in the earlier episodes of Reacher Season 3, it was expected that we would see more of her. Moreover, with Amazon MGM officially announcing a Reacher spin-off titled Neagley (Maria Sten portraying the titular character), the franchise now has a lot to offer.

A logline of the spin-off show, per Variety, reads:

"Frances Neagley is a private investigator in Chicago. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice. Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil."

This further suggests that Neagley, after having completed her mission with Reacher gets back to her normal life. But a personal loss sends her down a path that can prove to be fatal.

Her iconic dialogue in Reacher Season 3 is not only suggestive of the fact that she is back to help Reacher, but it also might be a subtle reference that she made to her upcoming show.

Also, in the latest Reacher Season 3 episode, we had a sneak peek into what it might look like when Neagley has her own battle to fight. She single-handedly deals with two armed men who try to kill her in Chicago.

Moreover, she also tracks down the guy who hired the gunmen and finds out his link to Xavier Quinn, the main antagonist of Reacher Season 3 and someone whom Reacher is after. It all clearly depicts her presence of mind and how she always adds value to an investigation.

Neagley's scenes in Reacher Season 3 are supposedly a short tease. Reacher Season 3 finale is now the talk of the town as Frances Neagley is last seen tailing the buyers Quinn is dealing with.

Will she be able to intercept the deal? Will Reacher be able to make it back to Beck's mansion right in time to back Neagley up? All those questions remain unanswered as we eagerly await a highly anticipated Season 3 conclusion.
