The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On has a new season, and the first five episodes were released on December 4. The series features six couples. The couples have gone through decoupling and speed dating and started their trial marriage with the one they chose from the group.
Episode 5 marked two weeks of their trial marriage, and some of them have already started getting their answers.
J.R. and Sandy chose each other for the trial marriage as they vibed from the first date. Both of them were issued an ultimatum by their respective partners Zaina and Nick. J.R. and Sandy bonded over their vulnerabilities and goofy nature.
Both admitted to being strongly attracted to each other from the first sight they set on each other.
However, the fans did not appreciate their chemistry much and rather had an opinion that the couple had been disrespectful to their original partners. Fans took to X to chime in their views on the same. A fan took to X, slamming the season, and J.R. for playing around without any serious intentions. The fan commented:
"The Ultimatum is so messy, as it is obvious that only two persons were willing to learn from the experience. While JR just wanted a free pass with a white woman. Scotty is a walking red flag. I'm glad the other two couples ran from that horror."
"All the JR and Sandy scenes… yall make me sick, just break up w your partner you don’t need to come on a whole a** Netflix show to act like trash!!!#TheUltimatum" wrote another fan
"JR took this show as an “hall pass” to cheat and experience being with a white girl not to see if he really wants to be married. Bye. #TheUltimatum" wrote another The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On fan
"Why didn’t anyone tell me The Ultimatum season 3 started? Anyway, I’m on episode 5 and I’d like to say I think Sandy and JR are so disrespectful to their partners. They sure aren’t there to figure out anything or form a genuine connection. Idc what anyone says, they are blehh" commented a fan.
"JR going out sad. Now in the hell do you downgrade from Zaina to Sandy? Sir you just want to eff someone with no accountability #ultimatum" wrote another fan.
"This season of The Ultimatum is starting off spicy . JR already on my last nerve with this “mixed baby” comment" wrote another fan.
"She really cares about me"- The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star J.R. opened up about his connection with Sandy
In episode 5 of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On all the men meet for a night out where J.R., Nick, Caleb, and Scotty share some insights about their ongoing trial marriage.
As the viewers know, Nick walked into the J.R. and Sandy's apartment unannounced and wanted to talk to Sandy. His reaction stemmed from the fact that J.R. met Sandy's mother.
Nick felt insecure and heartbroken and later apologized to J.R. during the night out about his behavior too. J.R. opened up about his connection with Sandy and told Nick that he was able to discover a lot about himself by being with her.
He tagged his connection as genuine and deep. He further said:
"She challenges me in different ways that I had not been challenged before. She has a huge heart and really cares about me."
Nick was finding it difficult to see Sandy forming a connection with J.R. but hoped that he was getting the answers through the experiment that he was looking for.
For The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On fans, J.R. and Sandy's connection could not translate to be deep and they criticized them for just being attracted to each other and not connecting emotionally.
The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3, episodes 6 to 8 will be released on December 11, only on Netflix.
