Amanda Holden, the host of Cheat: Unfinished Business on Netflix, has revealed her struggles being around couples on the show. The series invited 8 pairs to spend time with each other and try to reconcile.

Think of it as something similar to 90 Day: The Last Resort, where very problematic couples try to solve their issues and give their relationship another chance. However, Amanda, who herself had an experience with being infidel, reveals that she can not stop herself from judging the folks on the show.

Cheat: Unfinished Business has dropped 9 episodes on Netflix that deal with couples who have had infidelity problems in the past. It invited them to a luxury retreat to have therapy sessions and group activities.

The counselling is provided by relationship expert Paul C. Brunson, also seen on Married at First Sight. In the end, couples will either reconcile or move on.

While she was on the show and trying to navigate the couples to fix their relationships, Amamda said she was quick to judge them and found it hard to stay neutral. Talking about the same, she said,

"Oh my God, it was very hard for me to sit on the fence. I would be the auntie and pop in and out. Try to be not to judge, we all make mistakes, there are people who have made bad choices."

Amanda Holden from Cheat: Unfinished Business was married to Les Dennis. However, the relationship fell apart because she had an affair with Neil Morrissey. This gave her a first-hand experience of what the couples on the series were going through with their partners.

While on The One Show, Amanda revealed that Paul, who was with her every step of the way, is "the therapist, guru and all-round god" when it came to dealing with the problems and providing a solution that would fit them each personally.

She said,

"He sort of digs and gets people's truth out, making them confess to each other and giving them all some sort of closure. There's so many stories in there that some of the girls don't know their partners were definitely cheating, and then there's scales of what you think cheating is."

Talking about the couples who went on this luxury retreat on Cheat: Unfinished Business, Amanda says that all 16 have left as better people. She finds it "heartwarming." Pointing out that people might watch the show for the "gossip" around it, however, it was a learning curve for the ones who were cast.

Amanda explained,

“It (cheating) is a sensitive topic, and I think it’s a topic everyone can understand. It’s about good people who have made bad choices. Some of those people haven’t had the answer for 10 years. So, it was amazing to be part of that process and to witness the truth coming out."

Cheat: Unfinished Business is available to stream on Netflix with a valid subscription.
