Love is Blind: Germany fans have been extremely appreciative of Hanni as of late and how she handled the business with Ilias. The two had a connection in the pods but after she got engaged with Daniel, there was no going back. Viewers saw how Daniel was treating her greatly while Ilias was engaged to Alina.

However, at the altar at the end of the season, Hanni decides not to marry Daniel claiming that she needs more time. Taking over to Reddit, fans voiced their opinions about Hanni and Daniel. One Love is Blind fan wrote,

"I have to say, I was somehow expecting Hanni to be a b*tch? But she turned out to be a girl’s girl. I admire the fact that she kept it clean with Ilias and said hey I made the right choice with Daniel and you should focus on Alina.. I like her."

Continuing, the fan wrote,

"I think it’s so refreshing to see Hanni’s mature behaviour that she KNOWS he treats her like a queen and she acknowledges that and knows that her needing space is a Me thing and not a Him thing. Positively surprised I have to say… I feel like they need some time for her to work through her parents splitting up thing and its impact on her view of marriage, but they could seriously become a thing in the future. I’d hope so.."

Love is Blind: Germany fans react to Hanni and Daniel's relationship

Love is Blind: Germany fans pointed out that Hanni has a great personality and Daniel is a "great guy too". However, they also noticed the issues in their bond. A user named r/Ok_Economy_3688 wrote,

"I think Hanni is really sweet and genuine and Daniel is a great guy too. Very mature for his young age and seems in love with Hanni. The only issue I see is the attention seeking part. She clearly is a flirt and enjoys attention to the fullest. Daniel didn’t look too bothered with this though?

Adding, they wrote,

Not sure what he was actually feeling but his behaviour was classy. He didn’t make a scene, wasn’t overly jealous. Great for him. I think he perhaps knew Hanni was not interested in Ilias whatsoever. Ilias is someone I’d never go for. His personality and his appearance are something I like the least."

Another user named r/autumnlover1515, had written,

"I like Hanni and Daniel too. She is one of the few people, including other countries, that has communicated feelings fairly quickly and easily. So that was refreshing to me."
"Daniel is probably one of the best men I’ve seen on this show, and he’s only 25. In some ways I hope she deserves him. But I do love them together. I like how she asked for space and he respected that. She seems to understand that he is a good man," wrote r/twerkteamcaptn

Another Love is Blind fan by the username r/reddit_understoodit said,

"Hanni - it took her a little too long to discourage Ilias - but she did."

Replying to this comment in a thread, another Love is Blind fan named r/Over_Breadfruit7372 who is also the OP, wrote,

"I mean.. they only met twice? And at the second meeting she was already testing the waters for Alina. What I also have to say is… I am genuinely very impressed with how open and truthful the girls were to each other.

Adding, they wrote,

Alina would’ve had every reason to hate Hanni and be jealous (as often seen in US Seasons) BUT Alina just straight talked it out and said hey you’ve been a topic in our conversations often etc. I am loving the supporting girl gang mentality in this season ✊🏻"

Talking about how people often judge a book by its cover, another user named r/arrrrjt expressed,

"I genuinely think people judged Hanni because she's a typically pretty blond girl. Even I was a little side eye at first but she seemed pretty genuine. She's someone who's never said I love you so of course she takes things more slow.

Continuing, they wrote,

At the same time, I really like their communication style. They de-escalate and take a step back. She always seemed to care about and like him even when Ilias was basically throwing himself at her."

Love is Blind: Germany is available to stream on Netflix right now.
