Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 Finale: David Genat made history as he won the prize pot containing $5.8 million

Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 finale featured David Genat going through the last phase of the show. He faced the Banker, aka Chrissy Tegan, and chose case #18. Later, he decided to open cases, including #14, containing $10, and #8, with $1. As he opened more cases, he crossed various amounts in different cases.

Seeing David opting to choose several cases before making any deal, the Banker told him:

"David, I have to admit, I only invited you here for eye candy. I didn't think you'd make it quite this far."

Following up, he received many higher offers ranging from $230,000 to $3 million. However, he didn't make any deals. One more case containing another $1 million was also opened, but David still went on playing. He then received Banker's offer of $499,000, which he refused.

Next offers from the Banker were $994,000 and $1,523,000, which, as usual, David declined. He also turned those offers down after opening two cases with $1 million each. A few rounds later, the Deal or No Deal Island finalist had two cases, one of which had $75 in one, and another had $12,232,001.

Then Banker offered David an offer worth $5.8 million, which he accepted. Later, when he opened the case, he found that it had $75. Fans were quite excited that before choosing the last case, David had already made the deal worth $5.8 with the banker and took home such a huge prize pot.
