"Trash": Beast Games fans divided over Akira's elimination

Beast Games Season 1 Episode 7 aired on Prime Video on Thursday, January 23, 2025. The latest episode of the reality show featured 15+ eliminated players. The seventh episode started with the Head Dang Challenge, which eliminated the Orange team.

For the next challenge, participants went to the train track, resulting in six more players' elimination. After the players chose Akira as the captain twice, he chose six players who were further eliminated from Beast Games.

Further in the episode, Player 865 (Bethany) was chosen as the captain, who then chose Player 539 (Akira) and Player 359 (Colton). Mr Beast chose Player 865 (Bethany's best friend, Courtney.) She was on the opposite side of the railway track, beside a mannequin on the same track where Colton and Akira were placed.

After Bethany saved Courtney, she learned that the mannequin had her number, resulting in self-elimination. Along with herself, she also eliminated Akira and Colton.

Fans must be aware of the situation when Akira was captain; he also eliminated multiple participants. Hence, when he was eliminated, some fans referred to it as "Karma" and shared their comments on social media platform X.

A fan criticized Akira:

"Akira is trash. Just happens his 3 least favorite players are Black women? #BeastGames."

Another fan reacted to the elimination:

"Akira I loved the way this guy played the game! The majority of the players in the top 10 are not even deserving, only a few like 2-3 really did something to be on the Top 10 list. #BeastGamesOnPrime #Beastgames."

Seeing various comments, fans were divided between Akira's elimination. While favoring him, a fan wrote on X:

"He was not f*cking racist. Akira was a damn great player till the end. He knew the game to eliminate people, won a Lamborghini, and saved his best friend. Akira is the true MVP of Beast Games."

Another fan reacted to layer 539's elimination:

"Akira lost my respect when he claimed he was eliminating Mia because she already won something. She won because she took the risk the others were not willing to take. That's not privilege. That's not making a tough choice; it's an avoidance of choice. A cop out. #BeastGames."

Another fan wrote about how Akira eliminated "3 black women" earlier in the seventh episode:

"Akira, I get, but common man, 3 black women!! and one of them is 952. I'm glad she went tho. She was doing way too much. #BeastGames."

A fan commented about Mia's elimination while criticizing Akira:

"We can all agree that Mia was the most iconic and messy player in #BeastGames ? Just cause she won an island doesn't mean she doesn't deserve the chance to win the games. (Also f*ck akira, deano and the habibi brothers)."

Another fan shared a similar comment on X:

"The amount of ppl attacking player 952 for her comment is crazy. She was right to point out that Akira eliminated 3 black women! #BeastGames."

Beast Games Season 1 Episode 7: Akira's elimination

During Beast Games Season 1 Episode 7, fans witnessed the Train of Elimination task. During the third round, Bethany was chosen as the captain. It happened after Akira chose six players and were sent home.

When Mr. Beast asked, Bethany shared that she felt "great." Seeing her, the reality show co-host, Mack, mentioned that he could sense a "little string of revenge" in Bethany's voice.

Later on in Beast Games, Bethany chose Colton and Akira to put them on the "yellow track." Along with them, Mr Beast chose her best friend Courtney on the yellow track, a mannequin on the red track, and Colton and Akira.

Unware of the mannequin's number, Bethany chose Akira and Colton for the elimination. Later, she learned that the mannequin had her number, which meant she was also eliminated from the show.

After witnessing the reality show episode, fans reacted to Akira's elimination and were divided.
