Tracker Season 2, Episode 8 will show a sister coming to Colter to seek help in finding her missing brother, though all the available resources indicate his death.

Bobby and Colter use the information gathered at the hospital to try and find a lead, but Bobby feels there is little to the case. There is a threat to the client's mother, which may be coloring their judgment.

Bobby investigates and finds out that Lucas' workplace was broken into two days ago, the same day his sister claims he visited the hospital. While this doesn't solve the case, the coincidence is too significant to ignore, prompting Colter to follow up.

At the same time, the logline hints at an unresolved issue in Colter's life. The last mention of this was in the show's season 2, episode 6, when Colter met a retired policeman. He allowed him to look at the case with a fresh perspective to see what he might have missed. Perhaps Keaton has discovered something vital that will put more emphasis on the ongoing plot.

A recap of episode 7 of Tracker

In episode 7 of Tracker, Colter Shaw is befriended by a dog named Barkley. What begins as a simple encounter with a lost dog at a dusty petrol station becomes complicated with a home invasion, stolen African artifacts, and a desperate family.

More than just a cute companion, Barkley becomes Colter's unlikely partner. The dog's keen sense of smell enables Colter to locate a kidnapped woman and hidden treasure artifacts.

Colter proves his resourcefulness and fighting skills when he confronts the master thief behind the theft and hostage situation. The arrival of Nate (Dylan Bruce), an ex-serviceman with a hidden agenda, further complicates the situation and tests Colter's instincts, which have always been right.

The two seasons of the show are currently available for fans to stream on CBS.
