Tracker Season 2 Episode 15 recap: Colter partners up with an old ally for a case

Tracker Season 2 Episode 15, The Grey Goose, brought many familiar faces from Colter Shaw's past life. The episode also included a mention of Bobby, a main character in Season 1, who was absent from the sophomore season, hinting at his potential return.

The latest episode saw Colter partnering up with Detective Brock (who appeared in Season 1 Episode 9), who asks for his help in finding her niece, who was taken hostage by an inmate.

In addition, the episode also saw Colter partnering up with Billie Matalon, and the final moments also hint at a casual relationship between the two.

Detective Brock asks Colter's help for a case on Tracker Season 2 Episode 15

Tracker Season 2 Episode 15 saw a prison exchange gone wrong. When Justine, an inmate in Vermont women's prison, was being transferred, she feigned illness and killed one of the prison guards. Next, she takes the female driver, Rachel, hostage and sets out on a run.

As it turns out, Rachel was Detective Brock's niece, and she helped the young woman secure a job. Now that Rachel is in danger and has been taken hostage by Justine, Brock asks for Colter's help, to which he complies.

First and foremost, Colter takes Randy's help in investigating Justine's whereabouts. He tracks her to an abandoned getaway car near an underground bunker. When Colter and Brock reach the said bunker, they suspect that it was the base for a marijuana operation.

Randy also traces the car's driver, whose sister turns out to be Mama Roach, an inmate currently being held at the Vermont prison with Justine.

Colter sent Billie on an undercover operation in Tracker Season 2 Episode 15

With Reenie's help, Colter calls for his old rival Billie and asks her to go undercover in Vermont prison to gain information about Justine's possible connection with Mama Roach.

Billie agrees and poses as the Matador, a fearful inmate in the prison. She searches for Justine's connection with her cellmate and Mama Roach and searches her cell for clues. She discovers that Mama Roach and Justine were indeed partners. They were planning to steal from Justine's stepmother's family's marijuana business and had planned this escape.

Before Billie could extract more information, Mama Roach catches onto her and tries to kill her, before one of the guards nearly gets her out alive.

Colter catches Rachel's lie in Tracker Season 2 Episode 15

While many would have seen this from the start, Colter discovers key information about Rachel and her connection with the case. While Detective Brock and Colter were about to search Justine's stepmother's office for possible clues, Brock received a call from her niece, Rachel, asking her to come to a location and get her.

Colter immediately detects Rachel's lie, revealing to Brock that her niece is also in with Justine and planned her own kidnapping. When Rachel's location does not match the available clues in their case, Colter warns Detective Brock, and they agree to search the stepmother's office instead.

When the duo finally reaches the office, they see Rachel and Justine holding the former's stepmother hostage. Rachel tries to act smart and even puts a gun to her own head, but Colter saves the day. Brock arrests her niece and Justine, and the case is finally closed.
