Tracker Season 2 Episode 11 titled Shades of Grey, released on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 8:00 PM ET. The one-hour episode written by Travis Donnelly and Jordan Goodman took Colter on his next mission to New Jersey.

One of the most watched shows of CBS, Tracker is based on Jeffrey Deaver's novels and features Justin Harley as Colter Shaw, a skilled survivalist who assists law enforcement authorities in tracking down missing persons in exchange for rewards.

In Tracker Season 2 Episode 11, Colter travels to the tristate area to help Ivy Hale, a cupcake chain owner, find her son Matt. The synopsis of the episode reads,

"While tracking the son a prominent New Jersey cupcake chain founder, Colter gets thrust into the middle of a violent mafia war"

The episode began with Colter Shaw being held by gunpoint, and then the next scene shifts to 18 hours earlier when Elliot gets a call from Ivy Hale about his missing son, Matt. In the next scene, we see Colter, all prepared, travelling to the tristate area to find a missing young adult called Matt. Matt's mother, Ivy Hale, is a cupcake mogul. She is a controlling mother who liked to track Matt's whereabouts.

However, Matt did not enjoy this possessiveness as he's an adult who worked at a tech investment firm. Although Ivy's worry for Matt had a reason, Ivy was related to the mafia and was in deep legal troubles. Ivy's nightmare came true, when Matt went missing and she hired Colter Shaw to track down Matt.

Ivy Hale's mafia ties and Matt's kidnapping: Tracker Season 2 Episode 11

When Colter was assigned the case, he had just one goal, finding Matt. Meanwhile, Ivy put a fifty grand award for Colter if he found out Matt. Colter checked Matt's social media where he found out about Matt's secretary. Further investigation showed that Matt was secretly engaged to his secretary. When Matt located her, he found her tied in the bathroom.

Matt's girlfriend disclosed the details of how Matt was kidnapped by a girl and a muscular guy. Colter tracked Matt to a hotel and found that the basement was a hub for a mob. The mob boss Lindo disclosed to Colter that Ivy was a mob boss, her cupcake business was just a coverup for her actual identity, and she had plenty of enemies.

When Matt was kidnapped, Ivy thought it was her rival Lindo who kidnapped him, but it was a trap set up by a third party to instigate a war between the mob bosses, Lindo and Ivy.

Meanwhile, the kidnappers sent a note with Matt's teeth demanding money for his release. The kidnappers wanted to kill both Ivy and her son. Ivy then fired Colter and agreed to pay the kidnappers the amount. Meanwhile, through Elliot and Reenie viewers come to know that Ivy was trying to leave the mob and start afresh.
