What happened in Tracker Season 2 Episode 9?
Tracker Season 2 returned with an epic mid-season premiere, where Colter finally solved a cold case that was haunting him for decades. In Gina's disappearance case, Colter finally got a lead in Episode 8, when Keaton called him about a potential suspect.
The suspicion points at Frank, who confesses to being a disciple for The Teacher. He asked young boys, who were on the list of s*x offenders, to bring him young girls so that he could murder them. Frank lured Gina by pretending to take her to a performance by her favorite local band.
On investigation, Colter finds out that a young woman named Hannah is missing. While in custody, Frank offers to take Colter to The Teacher, who is revealed to be Noah. Colter finally spots Hannah in an abandoned hospital, but they are gassed and Colter is attacked.
Meanwhile, Frank escapes and attempts to shoot Noah. Although Noah manages to inflict a knife wound on Frank, the latter's bullet hits him on the side, which slows Noah down. Noah tries to escape but is finally caught, following which he reveals that he killed Gina.
While the news is heartbreaking for Colter and Gina's sister Camille, she thanks him for finally giving a closure to Gina's case and for saving Hannah.
