During the social experiment's reunion episode, Tolga and Shila, a former couple from the show, got a chance to share their sides of what went wrong between them.

Love is Blind: Germany star Shila mentioned:

"From the moment on in Greece, I was speechless. I just didn't know what was wrong and who this person facnig me was....I believe in the experiment. The dcision to accept the engagement was not easy. "Okay, let's do it." I wanted to stick to that decision and believe in it. I didn't want to call it off."

She added:

"I simply couldn't breathe. And as soon as the cameras were gone...he said things like, "Well, you don't get what it means to be reduced to your looks." "Hanni does, that's why we get along." Just imagine, you're there, all dressed up, with make-up, and then you hear that. It went like that the whole time."

When the hosts asked Tolga the reason behind his behavior, he mentioned he couldn't "cope" with the pressure at the retreat.

"I may seem confident and like a match, but it's all a facade. And if I can't deal with moments, I don't want to show emotion, I don't want to show emotions to not seem vulnerable. I mean, I'm working on that. I'm reflecting, but I can't manage," shared Tolga.
