Top Chef star Katiana, who is currently competing in Season 22, owned a restaurant in Los Angeles that has just closed. It was reported by the owners that even though this location has shut down, they will reopen their venture called Yangban at a new location.
Katiana owns the place with John Hong, and they shut the place down for renovations back in December. Even though it was temporary at the time, the news has just been released that the restaurant will not open again at this time.
According to a report by The Times, the couple is currently planning to relaunch Yangban somewhere else.
However, this new location will be in Los Angeles itself. Currently, Katiana is appearing in Top Chef Season 22 and killing it. The series is taking place in Canada.

Yangban was located in the Arts District, but now it will be moving to a new location. The owners have not released the real reason behind the closing.
The couple has issued an explanation on the Instagram page of the restaurant. Sharing a heartfelt message about what inspired them to work at Yangban, they said,
"When we opened Yangban in the heart of the Arts District, it was never just about a restaurant — it was a reflection of our heritage and our journey.

Katiana and John claim that this allowed them to "live" in the city for five years and explore. This led them to connect with like-minded folks and other professionals in their industry. Talking about the future of Yangban, the Top Chef restaurant owners said,
