5 Things to Expect from Snow White (2025)
A Fresh Take
The film's screenplay is written by Barbie writer/director Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson, the most refined talents in the industry. The story perfectly blends the modern-day action-packed drama with the beauty and detailings of an age-old classic.
Following the 1937 animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the upcoming film follows Snow White when the jealous wicked queen, who also happens to be Snow White's stepmother, orders to murder her. Snow White escapes to the forest she always heard of from her parents.
Rachel Zegler's vocals
Rachel Zegler's amazing singing is on full display. Her singing becomes the film's highlight, including her rendition of the ballad "Waiting on a Wish." The film features original songs written by the duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, which will be part of the film's musical world.
The Seven Dwarfs
The trailer gives us an action-packed story blended with the age-old classic world of fairy tales. It teases the fan with the first look at the seven dwarfs- Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy, and their encounter with Snow White.
Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen
Gal Gadot seemed perfect for portraying the wicked queen alongside Andrew Burnap, Martin Klebba, and Ansu Kabia. In the trailer, Gadot's character of the evil queen can be seen asking,
"Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?"
The mirror answers something concerning the fair maiden Snow White, which leaves the queen baffled.
The Spectacular Visuals
With just the trailer, one can gauge the kind of magic the film is going to create with its images. The enchanting visual of the magical forest, which consists of surreal elements but is also rooted in reality, immerses the viewers into the spectacular world of the fairy tale. The portrayal of some patent elements of the classic, like the magic mirror, the kingdom, etc, have been faithful to every viewer's imagination.
