Dune: Prophecy draws upon the science-fiction universe created by the original Dune novels written by Frank Herbert. Dune: Prophecy is based on the 2012 novel Sisterhood of Dune written by Frank Herbert's son Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. 1) The power of truth saying

Undoubtedly the strongest power in the universe of Dune: Prophecy is possessed by the Bene Gesserit and it allows them to detect any lies as and when they are being spoken. The Bene Gesserit rigorously trains its disciples to spot any physical signs or inconsistencies that might lead them to discover whether a person is lying or not. It is owing to this that they are often employed as truth-sayers by The Imperium during political gatherings.

2) The power of pyrokinesis

Desmond Hart is surely an enigmatic character on Dune: Prophecy. As the story goes, he was swallowed and then spit out by a sandworm and ended up receiving unique powers. One such power is his ability to burn someone from the inside out or pyrokinesis. He first used this power to decimate the nine-year-old Pruwet Richese and then turned it on his father. Although he wields this power quite effectively, he is often seen clutching the scars on his face while doing so.

3) The power of human supercomputers

Mentats are human computers that have subjected themselves to meticulous training to develop the power to perform complex calculations, store large amounts of data, and provide logical solutions within a short period. They are the human supercomputers of the realm and are of increased importance following the ban on the Thinking Machines. Every house employs a Mentat of their own for example Peter de Vries from the Harkonnens.

4) The power to see the past and the future at once

Paul Atreides has been depicted as having the unique power of prescience, also known as the ability to see the past and the future at once. According to Dune Wiki, the spice melange is a spectrum narcotic that can give a person varying degrees of prescience.

Apart from Paul Atreides, the Guild Navigators as well as Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohium are also said to have this power. Paul started having dreams of his past during his time at Caladan and following his escape to Arrakis, he was exposed to the spice Melange and this accentuated his powers.

5) The power of spacing guild navigators

The Spacing Guild Navigators on Dune: Prophecy are responsible for ensuring interstellar travel for the Heighliner ships that keep the Imperium stable and prosperous. To do so, the navigators themselves ingest huge quantities of spice, thereby physically altering themselves. They must also live inside special anti-gravity tanks filled with spice to effectively fold space.
