1) When Manny 'drives' a car to impress a girl

In Season 3 Episode 16, Virgin Territory, Manny likes a girl and Luke suggests he drive a car in front of her to impress her. However, since the two are still kids and do not really know how to drive. So in the slowest motion, possible, Manny drives the car as music plays in the background.

However, once they cross Manny's crush, the boys are left perplexed as they don't know how to make a U-turn. So Manny drives again past the girl. This time in reverse, deducting all his aura points.

2) When Manny called Luke his nephew

The memorable Coal Digger episode from Modern Family Season 1 saw the hilarious fight between Manny and Luke because Manny would not stop calling Luke his nephew, which he technically is, but they are also in the same class making the relationship strange.

Luke obviously does not like it, and they have a huge fight in school, where Luke ends up sitting on Manny's chest, and their principal calls their parents to sort the fight out. While the principal tried to understand their family relationships, Manny had another go at Luke by calling him his 'nephew'.

3) When Manny tries to get taller

Everyone's aware of the things we do in teenage love, and Manny has also done a few of them. In Modern Family's one of the most hilarious sequences, he orders equipment to get taller to win the affection of a girl at school.

The equipment was complete with a weighted helmet and bars, and when he shouted for help, Jay found him hanging upside down from the bars in his closet. When asked why he was doing this gymnastics, he gave the age-old answer- to impress a girl.

4) When Manny wore a traditional Columbian poncho

Who can ever forget Manny's love for his culture in Modern Family Season 1? Since he has a lot of eccentricities, he wears a traditional Columbian poncho to school, which Jay calls an old Christmas skirt.

Not only did he look funny in the costume, but he also planned a traditional Columbian song and dance number with a flute to perform in front of his class. While the sentiment to get in touch with his Columbian roots was touching, the execution was very funny.

In another hilarious Modern Family sequence, Manny visits the Dunphy family in Season 1. While he is there to spend time with Luke instead, he finds his sister Claire's company to be much better suited for him.
