Under the Dome is an American science-fiction horror mystery drama series aired on CBS from June 24, 2013, to September 10, 2015. The show is based on a novel by Stephen King with the same name. The story takes place when the people of Chester's Mill get trapped in an invisible and mysterious force field, completely cutting them off from the rest of the world.

The show has a somewhat open ending while exploring themes of human behavior under pressure and moral dilemmas. The series produced a total of 39 episodes spread over three seasons.
