8) Women in Blue
The T.V. series WoT.V.in Blue is inspired by the true story of 'Las Azules,' four women who joined Mexico's first female police force. While the series doesn't entirely follow real-life events, it does feature four women: María, played by Bárbara Mori; Gabina, played by Amorita Rasgado; Ángeles, played by Ximena Sariñana; and Valentina, played by Natalia Téllez.
According to the official synopsis shared by the streamer:
"Set in 1970 and inspired by true events, “Women in Blue” (“Las Azules”) tells the story of four women who defy the ultraconservative norms of the time and join Mexico’s first female police force, only to discover that their squad is a publicity stunt to distract the media from a brutal serial killer"
Even though these females were used to distract the media, they secretly made a plan and got obsessed with catching the serial killer. The T.V. series highlights the determination of four women who try hard to achieve what the male officers failed to do.
9) Lady in the Lake
Lady in the Lake is among the best American thrillers you can stream on Apple TV+. The miniseries hit the streamer in July 2024 and has constantly injected viewers with curiosity.
