Three Women is a Showtime series based on Lisa Taddeo's 2019 book of the same name. Initially planned for Showtime, Starz later picked up the series after the Showtime network canceled it. The miniseries premiered in Australia on 16 February 2024 on Stan, which aired the entire series in its entirety over two weeks. Starz later scheduled a premiere for 13 September 2024, with new episodes premiering each week.
Three Women follows Gia, a writer who cannot resurrect her book project after her publisher criticizes it. She goes on a road trip and meets three women who have special experiences in their intimate relationships. Gia is inspired by them and bases her book on their characters. Her book comprises stories of female desires, which Gia feels is a must share with the world.
