Baddies Midwest season 6 recently featured Ming Li, sister of Nicki Minaj, on their episode and the internet went crazy over it all. For the unversed, Ming Li is Nicki's half-sister through her father.

Previously, during a 'We in Miami' interview, Ming Li had talked about her relationship with the Anaconda singer. She said growing up she never needed anything materialistic from Nicki but just her support.

She wanted her sister to be proud of her and see that she can "do it on" her "own." Ming Li said that she always had the urge to impress her sister because she cared about her opinions.

When asked about her current relationship with Nicki, she said they were not close due to the work schedules and they even have arguments sometimes but she brushed it off by saying that this is what siblings do.

Talking about Nicki, Ming Li said that the rapper was a good sister and used to check up on her and her dad from time to time.

She explained how Nicki would make sure that they were "good situated" and that she did not have any "hate towards her." She also revealed that Nicki was probably trying to protect her from the negative side of the music industry.

With her recent appearance on Baddies Midwest, fans are dicey over what is correct and what is not. Ming Li is 19 years old right now and thus, netizens are trying to make sure that she stays safe during the filming of the series.

On the other hand, some users feel that Ming Li is using Nicki's name to step into the show. They want her to distinguish herself. A user named @Rideforonika wrote on Twitter,

"All I know it’s I don’t wanna hear Nicki's name nowhere! Don’t use her for clout or traction or drama any of that this girl is her own person."

Baddies Midwest fans react to Ming Li being on the show

Till now, the creators have not yet confirmed if Ming Li will be a permanent cast member from now on Baddies Midwest or if it will just be an appearance.

Despite it all, Baddies Midwest fans claim that she is too young to be there as all the other ladies are well in their twenties. They are worried about her getting "exploited" by the cast members for clout. Another user on Twitter named @_brii_da_ghost wrote,

"Nicki need to come get her sister immediately Natalie bout to exploit this lil girl so bad"
"I hope she does her big one but unfortunately I do see one of the newbie girls like Shay or Coco, Teetee trying to pick on her," said @woorklikepabloo
"make sure my b*tch gets the celebrity cast treatment! she needs a no touch contract & top security nobody better even THINK about touching her," wrote @afuckingbarb

On the contrary, some Baddies Midwest fans were upset that Nicki's name was being used to popularize Ming Li's appearance. They think that during the earlier interview, the younger Minaj sister has made it clear that the two are "not very close." Talking about the same, Twitter user @SpillzMinaj wrote,

"Please remove Nicki's name from this tweet. Nicki doesn't need to be included in anything ming does."
"And whoever starts beef with her better keep Nicki out they fckin mouth cuz they’d don’t want these Barb problems," said @TheRomaniBanks
"I sweater God if this was my sister Natalie and lemony Snicket would come up missing. This is on so many levels disrespectful to an icon. This is how you know the devil has this soul," wrote @lovergirlbrenee
