Love on the Spectrum Season 3: Dani and Adan broke up after their views on physical intimacy didn't match

During Love on the Spectrum Season 3 Episode 2, Dani and Adan celebrated their anniversary, and she shared her views on physical intimacy. She made an animated video featuring two cartoon characters (referring to herself and Adan) and showed it to him.

"It's been a year...is it time to do the deed? Happy Anniversary Adan!" the video stated.

However, during the fifth episode, Adan asked Dani to go out on a date as he wanted to share his thoughts on physical intimacy.

"I feel there are some things I'm not ready for yet in a relationship...in this relationship. Not yet. What I'm saying is, uh...I don't...I...I don't feel comfortable with s*x outside of marriage. That's what I'm trying to tell you," he said.

After their date ended, Love on the Spectrum star Dani confessed to the cameras that she didn't want to "invade" Adan's boundaries. Before the third season ended, Dani and Adan had a telephone conversation where she asked Adan:

"What is a relationship without intimacy for me?"

She got emotional and told Adan she didn't know what else to say. They agreed that without intimacy, they could "only be friends." Hence, they broke things off, after which Dani started to date again while Adan focused on his studies.
