The White Lotus: Why do guests keep visiting the resorts despite multiple deaths? Reasons explored

Mike White's The White Lotus has just about reached the pinnacle of its success. The ongoing third season of The White Lotus has been referred to as the darkest and the most chic iteration of the Prime Video show.

While the third season aims to overwhelm the parameters established by its first two seasons, there's a nagging question that The White Lotus season three doesn't seem prepared to answer - what about the deaths of Armond and Tanya?

The first season of the show was rocked by the death of Armond and it was eventually discovered that Shane was the killer. Similarly, during the second season of The White Tiger, Tanya died off the premises of the luxury resort. It has verily been argued that these deaths in and around the vicinity of the luxury resort would invite scrutiny and would prevent new guests from visiting.

However, as it turns out, the management of the luxury resort is at the heart of the show, and has somehow managed to control the narrative and sweep the deaths under the rugs, thus making it easy for new guests to arrive in ignorance. Here's everything we know.

The White Lotus season 3 addresses the previous deaths in the resort

In its third season, the Prime Video show takes a few moments to explain away the lack of consequences suffered by the luxury resort on account of the two previous deaths of Armond and Tanya. It is revealed during a dialogue scene between Belinda and Pornchai that the hotel management was able to trivialize Armond's murder by publicizing it as a freak accident.

On the other hand, as told by Chloe to Chelsea, Greg's former wife, Tanya is said to have committed suicide. From where the other guests of the resort stand, these two explanations might seem to suffice in telling them that there's nothing wrong with the resort after all!

Cast members speak about The White Tiger season 3?

Several cast members of the Prime Video show including Parker Posey, Jason Isaacs and Patrick Schwarzenegger recently gave an interview to L'Officiel in which they recalled their first reaction upon learning that they had been cast in the third season of the popular show. Posey remembered:

"Oh, I was so excited! It’s such a big show, and when I found out Natasha was joining the new season, I got even more hyped. I really connected with the first season, so knowing I’d be working with Natasha in Season 3 just made it all the more thrilling"

Speaking about what first came to his mind back then, Isaacs answered:

"My first thought? Oh God, I hope I don’t mess this up. The writing is just so brilliant and asks a lot of me. Sometimes, I get to just tell a story, but this time, it’s deep — it’s dramatic, Shakespearean, and totally epic. And knowing how many people will be watching? That’s both terrifying and a huge privilege."

On the other hand, The White Lotus star Schwarzenegger added:
