The White Lotus Season 3: Exploring Greg/Gary's mysterious past in the anthology series

Greg had the strongest connection with the anthology series, and fans were surprised to see him pop in The White Lotus Season 3. In Season 1, set in Maui, he first appears as Greg, a mysterious man who befriends Tanya McQuoid.

While he does not give explicit details about him, he says that he has a terminal illness and is here to spend his last days with friends. He also reveals that he is a government official for the Bureau of Land Management. Since Greg and Tanya are both lonely, they hit it off and begin dating in Season 1.

While Season 2 hit it off with a new ensemble cast in Sicily, Tanya and Greg return, now married. But Greg appears to be weary of Tanya and berates her for bringing her assistant, Portia, on their vacation.
