5 wildest theories about The White Lotus Season 3 finale
5) Timothy will poison his family but will get out of his financial crunch
The White Lotus Season 3 has focused on Timothy's suicidal thoughts, following his discovery that they are amidst a financial crisis. His character has had a monotonous arc over the past few episodes, where he pops one of his wife's pills and daydreams about killing him and his own family.
He picking out the poisonous fruit (mentioned in the premiere) in the finale's teaser hints that he might poison his whole family with the said fruit in the finale. But just as he is about to kill/shoot himself, he will discover that his lawyers have handled everything, and he and his family will be fine. This bleak ending for the business tycoon would be befitting of White's commentary about the rich.
4) Chelsea will die and Rick will go berserk
Chelsea is one of the sweetest characters in The White Lotus Season 3 so far, which is why many people have speculated that she would be the victim this season. While this might be a little too predictable, since she had already 'two brushes' with death, White might surprise everyone and take the expected road (for once).
In addition, Rick's violent streak and the fact that he did not use the gun in the penultimate episode suggest that he might go berserk after Chelsea's death and start the shooting, as shown in the premiere. This also goes well with the trailer, where Rick and Chelsea can be seen in a dream-like sequence on the beach. This might be their meeting in the spiritual realm, as this is Season 3's overarching theme.
3) Greg will win (again)
While Greg was a surprise addition in The White Lotus Season 3, many fans want nothing more than to see his downfall this season, and for Belinda to finally expose him to the authorities.
While Belinda is not up for Greg's money offer since it would be blood money, she might accept the money on her son's encouragement. And even if she refuses, Greg might do something bad to her and Chloe might help him in doing that.
This might not be ideal and repetitive for the show, but it sits right with the theme of the show that corruption and dirty work often go undetected and the rich can suppress the poor effortlessly.
2) The shootout will be between Gaitok and Valentin
While Gaitok was quickly becoming one of the most hated characters, because of his incompetence at his job, he finally upped his game and recognized the robbers in the penultimate episode.
Many fans have speculated that Gaitok will turn out to be a surprising character and will take matters into his own hands. The finale teaser shows him running with a gun in the woods and secretly watching Valentin, which supports this theory.
Seeing the hotel staff go against each other and the impact it would have on the hotel guests would be an interesting finale, something we hope to see in the upcoming episode.
1) Chelsea and Saxon will end up together
The most bizarre theory of the lot, but Saxon had been after Chelsea since The White Lotus Season 3 premiere. While he has been a jerk, who is just after s*x, as opposed to Chelsea, who is a romantic and loyal to Rick, the Ratliff sibling might undergo a huge transformation.
The penultimate episode saw Chelsea hinting at a connection with Saxon, which she immediately dismisses, but that combined with how shitty Rick had treated her during their vacation, they could be endgame (if the two did not die in the finale).
